Ministry Update from Pastor Augustin Lewis, Compassion F.I.R.E. Ministries, Bangalore, India   Dear Friends in Christ;   Praise and Glory to God our Father and His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Thank you a lot for the prayers that you have rendered on our behalf to do ministry in this part of the world. Glory to Him alone who is able to deliver like this.   On the 21st of February 2008, I boarded a train in Bangalore, traveling to Kalyan, in Mumbai (Bombay), at about 8:00 p.m..  I reached Kalyan on the 22nd around 7:00 p.m.. The 23 hour journey was very tedious but okay for I had a chance to witness to a girl who was sitting opposite me. Finally, before getting off the train she promised to come to church when she returns to Bangalore. Praise and glory to God.   Upon arriving in Kalyan, and after getting freshened up, I was taken to a church meeting where Pastor Ashish Raichur and his assistant, Ronald (Ronnie), (who happens to be the son of Shirley’s Sister Pauline) were preaching.  They are also from Bangalore.  After the meeting we had dinner along with the pastors and organizers of the Crusade and then went back to the hotel.   On 23rd, from 10:30 a.m. to 3: p.m. there was a pastor’s conference.  At 6:00 p.m., which was the first day of the Crusade, we went to the crusade grounds where about 3000 people had gathered. About 90% of the people were from other religions. I shared my testimony and the goodness of our Good God.  The Lord spoke through me to call out for people who had sickness to pray for them. When I started praying demons started manifesting. We went into the crowd and cast out he demons. There were about 6 demonic manifestations and many were healed of sickness in their bodies: stomach pains, knee pains, backaches, lumps and all kinds of diseases disappeared. We did not have enough time for all of them to come and testify. Glory to Our God alone who is able to do this kind of healing and deliverance.   On the 24th,, Sunday morning, there was a combined service. Many local churches came to the crusade grounds and joined the service. Pastor Ashish and I preached. After the service as I was praying for people, there were about five demonic manifestations and the Lord delivered those people from the demons. Glory to our God.   In the evening, about 4000 people gathered. During the worship more demons started manifesting. I finished sharing the word and asked the people to come forward who wanted to accept Jesus as their personal savior. About three fourths of the crowed came forward and accepted our good Lord. They had printed about 2000 decision cards and when they were exhausted and people gave their addresses written on scrapes of paper so the local churches could follow up. Praise God for the work of salvation in such a measure. Tears filled my eyes to see so many of them repeating the salvation prayer along with me. More then 2000 people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior. As we continued to pray the Lord healed many of them. Countless number of diseases were healed. There were many stubborn demons who never wanted to leave but the Lord sent His fire and cast them away. There were demons by the dozens. There was a young boy who had been deaf from birth and as we prayed the Lord gave him his hearing! Even now after two days, the testimonies continue to come in. People are giving reports of healings and deliverances. The local churches are following up with those who filled out salvation decision cards. This is the first time they have had a large crusade like this and our good Lord did mighty things for His glory. Dear Friends,

Ministry throughout 2007 has been exciting. God has grown Isaiah 51 Ministries and our ability to travel to many villages and cities throughout India spreading the good news of the Love of God for his people.  We have hosted many guests from other countries this year and God has blessed our hearts through their ministry here in India.

Thank you so much for your prayers throughout the year.  God has answered our desire to hold a session of  classes in February, 2008 at the Calvary Divine Center Bible School in Kalure, India.   One couple has joined in our vision to train the village youth for evangelism and sponsored our whole program.  Hallelujah!  We are very elated and SO grateful to the LORD for his goodness.  Your prayers have moved mountains in the heavenlies for us.  Please keep myself and Sister Barbara Taylor from Alaska in your thoughts for our planning, weather, and other details.

Sister Barbara and myself  are going to the village of Kalure to give Christmas clothing to the old and widows.  Churches and TLC have sent funds and we have purchased new saris, lungi, and pant and shirt materials for the men.  It is a joy to be your hands extended, to these who are desperately poor.  God bless you in Christ Jesus,
